This commercial was so fun to do. The editing was enjoyable. I had to be extra creative. I dug in my brain for some crazy ideas that accidentally worked. They work smoothly together. 
I do think it could be better but for now what I did was my best. Going out to record is my favorite part of this process. It gave me a breather and I got to walk around for my shoot. I felt like a real director. I was so surprised when I realized that I was actually focused and didn’t give up. It was great walking around with my actor laughing at how many reshoots we had to do. I chose a great product, and storyline in really satisfied with my commercial.

  When filming it took a little longer that we anticipated. We had to do a lot of retakes to get the right shot and angle.we did a lot of negotiating and talking. The actors that we had planned, unfortunately could not be able to film in time with us. So we had to get last minute actors, they really came to the rescue. After we found our address, we did a lot of talking then walking, which I counted as a exercise. The film was very last minute, and it was kind of rushed. One of our actors wanted to quit mid way of the filming. The actor felt disrespected. We filmed on the bus, and there were a lot of people also on the bus, it was loud, hot and very bumpy. We pushed through and kept hustling. There was a limited amount of space and time but we got it done. At the time we just wanted to get as much film as possible. R&B Vs. Pop

We actually didn’t know what song to do for a while and it was starting to worry me. Nothing school appropriate and also interesting to me came to mind. We brushed it off for a while and still came back with a blank mind.  After countless hours of video watching, dancing, water breaks, getting into character and “turn that down” We finally found the perfect song for my music video. We  decided to go a little new school,  they wear costumes like baggy pants, long shirts, long chains shades and more. They use props like speakers, fancy cars, party props and more.  Their appearance is usually hip and r&b adding to the overall music video. The score through the music videos are medium to slow paced sounds, meant to make the viewer feel what they are portraying. Whether that’s heartbreak, sadness, happiness and more.  1.
