Editing day Two


 On the second day of editing I have pieced everything together, added all the transitions and special effects. For the flashbacks my main colors are black and white. I feel like that adds depth and mystery into the film

We actually didn’t know what song to do for a while and it was starting to worry me. Nothing school appropriate and also interesting to me came to mind. We brushed it off for a while and still came back with a blank mind.  After countless hours of video watching, dancing, water breaks, getting into character and “turn that down” We finally found the perfect song for my music video. We  decided to go a little new school,  they wear costumes like baggy pants, long shirts, long chains shades and more. They use props like speakers, fancy cars, party props and more.  Their appearance is usually hip and r&b adding to the overall music video. My mom will make sure that in the scene where my actor is speeding that everything goes okay, or ill just have my mother preform that part; as a stunt double.

Behind the curtains

During the break we were unable to record. That was our chance to get ahead of the game and return back to school with nothing to do. However, we didn't take that path and we wanted to just relax and sleep in. We wanted to rest well and leave all the stress of school behind, so that we could jump back into it with a clear mindset coming from the break. It took a while for us to get everything together, avoiding discomfort when we meet. It was hard in the beginning getting everything together, learning each other schedules and more. Getting the right actors and finding the right place to record. I’m more of a get it done and out the way person but the situation presented itself as “wait”. It’s understandable we’re on break so we should take a break. Working with others reminded me about patience.
