There are no connotation that the images carry in this sequence and that make me feel more confident in this film. The genre romance is reinforced throughout the sequence symbolically by having the senior couple from the out set. From the opening sequence the genre is more comedy than romance. Some conventions used to ensure the film appeals to its target is by hooking them on with comedy, involving the actors doing something funny and with the technology it captures the genre.
