Editing went smoother than we expected. Taking in the lessons from the trial and error when editing the commercial we knew the ups and downs. It was easier because we already had a software we were comfortable with working on. When putting everything together, patience is a virtue. Everything looked a mess and it gave me a headache. I just wanted to throw it away. There was a lot of clips that needed to be cut and edited it was a bit overwhelming. We left the film alone and came back to it later on in the day with a clear mindset of getting it done. We worked in 30 second pieces which made it easier to form everything. we made a mistake thinking it was going to be Like the commercial which is why we tried to deal with it head on. Aligning the clips with this song was the hardest part, besides scenery the actors had to match with the theme of song. There were a lot of re-tires and switching things up. In order to get the best out of the film we wanted to look at it with the different scenarios. It was different from the original outlook but it worked out in our favor. I asked a couple of my friends to watch the film and tell me what they thought the plot was, none of them could give a good answer. That meant something was done wrong, or the theme was not properly portrayed. We took it into consideration and played around in editing again. After finally finishing we asked around again and some people were getting it. This is not the best we could’ve done but it’s a start to a beginning.
