Lesson Learned

  Although it was fun working with my crew mates, for the next project I will be working by myself. I have nothing against my teammates but when I work with others that means I have to comply with everyone’s work ethic. I like to get my work done as soon as possible. When working with others it seemed as if a lot of things were put off to the side and left for the last minute. I’m not a last minute type of worker so it really felt unsettling. I didn’t wanna keep bringing it up and annoying the rest of my partners. So to avoid all of that I’ll just work by myself. There were pros in working with others and there were also cons. Scheduling is a prime example because not everyone was available at the same time. Getting everything done efficiently and effectively. There was a small lack in communication when pertaining to the work. There was a lot of procrastination and it’s hurting us, when doing the project. Film Review

 When showing my film to a friend they recommended that I add more sound effects/ diegetic sound that goes with my film. They also said it resembles a move that I've never heard of; I took that as a complement because maybe I kind of know what I'm doing. This boosted my head up a little and I wanted to add a little extra in my film. I showed it to another friend and they also commented on my sound. This to me says that my sound is the number on thing I need to prioritize for my film to be bottom line okay or great. Another thing commented on was the transition of the second scene and the third scene they said "can you make it into a zoom out?" with this I immediately changed it from a zoom in to a zoom out to see which one I thought looked better for the scene. So far I'm happy for the way my film is turning out and I honestly thought that I was not going to be able to do it; so having this review is really reassuring and gives me confident.

Title Design

    I’m going to be using the same font throughout the scene. The color will be the same and it won’t blend into the background. As of size I plan to keep it medium; for example the first name of the person holding the job will be 2 sizes larger that the rest of the words.  The title of my film is likely to be “elover” for example;  It will be bold face font and in all caps : eLover.  The titles will be it’s own transition and will be around 3-4 seconds long before it disappears.  Depending on the color of the scene I will be using black and white font.  However, all this may vary and I might want to change it depending on how I’m feeling or how I think it looks to fit my vision.  The order of my titles will be 1. Title  2. Name of the studio  3. Name of the production company 4. Actors names 5. Edited by 6. Music by 7. Produced by  8. Story and writer by 9. Directed by 10. Title name
