Getting it done

When filming it took a little longer that we anticipated. We had to do a lot of retakes to get the right shot and angle.we did a lot of negotiating and talking. The actors that we had planned, unfortunately could not be able to film in time with us. So we had to get last minute actors, they really came to the rescue. After we found our address, we did a lot of talking then walking, which I counted as a exercise. The film was very last minute, and it was kind of rushed. One of our actors wanted to quit mid way of the filming. The actor felt disrespected. We filmed on the bus, and there were a lot of people also on the bus, it was loud, hot and very bumpy. We pushed through and kept hustling. There was a limited amount of space and time but we got it done. At the time we just wanted to get as much film as possible. Throughout the filming we had to make sure everything made sense, recorded correctly in the end added up to the right amount of film. We could have plan better, communicated better and overall try to get this done before hand. When recording We took the lessons from our previous project and use them to do our current project. However we accidentally made a mistake when recording. One of our actors faced the camera with the school logo on it. We realized this too late and I’m not sure how we’re going to fix it. We can find out how to edit it later on and communicate about it well. In the end we worked well and got the job done. It was fun and productive. Just minor detail we need to adjust. It was a great experience watching and working together.
